Fuse Integration — Engineering Internship 

Location: San Diego, CA | Duration: 6 weeks

Role: Engineering Intern

Summary of Work:

• Developed a testing interface application used for in-flight CPU and GPU systems as part of a larger CORE avionics assembly.

• Collaborated with Matthew Barnekow, Lead Software Developer, and the testing team to implement and validate modifications for the new system.

• Wrote a new power budget to support the installation of two new servers and ensure sufficient backup power capacity for future expansion.

• Programmed and tested the interface to ensure functionality before handoff to the dedicated testing team.

• Completed insider security training (four-lesson course covering standard data protection and confidentiality procedures).

Outcome:
Delivered a functional test interface integrated into the company’s in-flight systems testing process; contributed to improved system readiness for new hardware integration.
